BSI Assessor Visited CMS
  A BSI assessor visit CMS Beijing Headquarter on July 9, 2007 for the purpose of conducting a follow up assessment. The assessment was successful and BSI are pleased to recommend maintaining registration.
 
CMS attended CCS Youth Forum
  The 3rd CCS Youth Forum was held in Beijing on July 3, 2007.
 
Chen Keyu and Kuang Shilin attended Huatai Haila'er Seminar
  The 4th Huatai Marine Hotspot Seminar was held in Haila'er on June 17-18, 2007. The seminar of this year mainly focused on the salvage issues as regards how to control the salvage cost into a fair and reasonable range.
 
The 6th board meeting of CMS was held in Hong Kong on June 7th, 2007
  The 6th board meeting of China Marine Services Co., Ltd. was held at the meeting room of Thomas Miller (Hong Kong) Ltd. in Hong Kong on June 7th, 2007.
 
CMS attended the Expert Evaluation Meeting for the Research on HNS Convention
  The Expert Evaluation Meeting for the Study on the compensation of liquid noxious substance pollution from ships was held in Beijing on June 8, 2007.
 
Oil Spill Response and East Asia Response Limited visited CMS Beijing on Apr. 17th, 2007
  Capt. Daniel Chan and Ms Zerlina Toh from OSRL/EARL Singapore visited CMS Beijing office on Apr. 17th, 2007.
 
CMS received ISO 9001 Certificate of Registration on Mar. 5th, 2007
  For the purpose of improving management and services, CMS applied for a management system assessment by BSI (British Standards Institute).

CMS attended the expert evaluation meeting for M.V. " Yin Chu" Salvage Operation on Feb. 6th, 2007
  M.V. "Yin Chu" sank near the dock in Huangpu River, Shanghai on Dec. 2nd, 2006.
 
CMS hosted an expert evaluation meeting for CNOOC in Beijing on Jan 30th-31st, 2007
  The ten aged engineering ships owned by China National Offshore Oil Engineering Co., Ltd (CNOOC) have been assessed by a third party for their technical and economical aspects on the next 5 years interval.
