Guidance on ship pollution compensation in china compiled by China Marine Services Co., Ltd has been published in March, 2009. The Guidance will be published every two years. This first publication is about the summary of the existing regime and relevant laws and regulations and the introduction of the previous cases and experiences of CMS. For the purposes of providing some guidance for the domestic vessel-source pollution compensation as well as doing everything CMS could to provide a platform to facilitate information exchange between home and abroad, the Guidance centers on the issues of the compensation for vessel-source pollution, and chooses materials from the perspective of practicability, objectivity, comprehension.
