The Annual Seminar of "Ship Insurance Risk Management and Practice", which is orgnized by China Insurance Newspaper, had its 2011 event in Shanghai between 21st to 23rd April. Ms. Kuang Shilin gave a two-hour speech on the Ship Oil Pollution Risk and the Practice in Damage Assessment. Attendees of this seminar were primarily from insurance and shipping companies. Besides CMS, experts from the major insurance company, China Maritime Arbitration Institute, and China Council for the Promotion of International Trade were also invited, giving speeches of a variety of subjects relating to ship insurance, such as adjusting liability in case of ship collision, surveying and claims handling, ship construction risk assessment, and difficult legal issues involved in ship insurace cases and litigation and etc.
