On April 16, 2013, Mr. Nicolas Gabriel from Battermann & Tillery GmbH provided a training course for CMS survey department at CMS Shanghai office.

Mr. Nicolas Gabriel as the manager of Worldwide Survey Coordination has rich experience in the survey field. The training course mainly contains how to handle the cargo damage survey, the procedure of carrying out the survey, and how to prepare high quality survey reports. He offered us many practical and useful advices in respect of securing techniques for the container cargoes, collecting necessary information of the cargoes for better evaluation for the loss or repairs, as well as the importance of understanding Incoterms which is meant to determine the ownership and liabilities upon various links of the transportation.

The survey teams have been given useful knowledge and widened perspectives through this training and believed that it will enhance the service standard in our future surveying.
