The Eleventh Maritime Seminar hosted by Huatai Insurance Agency & Consultant Service Ltd. was held in Yinchuan, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region on July 12, 2014. More than forty professionals from P&I clubs, law firms and survey companies attended the seminar.

During the seminar, the following four topics were raised and hotly discussed by all the attendees:

(1) The Supreme Court’s Provisions on Relevant Issues Concerning Arrest and Auction of Vessels (Daft);.

(2) The Regulations on Administration of Foreign Exchange under Transnational Guarantees;

(3) Issues Concerning Personal Injury/Death Claims of Chinese Crewmembers;

(4) Problems Observed in Handling Clean-up Costs Claims since the Implementation of Ship Pollution Response Agreement System.
